A public display of affection for Indonesia.These are some photos taken by me, of my 5 weeks spent in Java, Bali and Gili Trawangan, Indonesia, using my trusty and compact Golden Half. A half frame film camera, these photos should have turned out as two side by side diptychs, but when I processed them in Bali received the photos as full frames. Oh well!
Indonesia was beautiful, bewildering and incredibly rich; diverse- language, religion, spirituality, personality, ecology, topography, dress, taste, smell, sell - everything - I cannot wait to go back when time and money next allow.
